SHINRIN-YOKU SESSION at the Parc des Sommets
Shinrin Yoku is a Japanese expression meaning “immersion in the forest environment”.
Very popular in Japan, it is a slow and contemplative walk, over a short distance of approximately 2 to 3 km in the forest, on easy trails, and facilitated by a trained guide.
The walk is punctuated by invitations to connect to nature and to ourselves, through our senses. Enjoy the sounds, smells and sensations of nature that will bring you a sense of accomplishment, giving way to deep serenity.
A tea ceremony and snack complete the walk.
Don’t miss this last session of the fall season at Lac Gale: December 14, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Shinrin Yoku is known to provide numerous benefits for physical and psychological health:
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Improved mood
- Strengthening the immune system
- Improved sleep quality
- Reduction of blood pressure
