It links 24 wineries<\/strong><\/a>, including some of the oldest in Quebec, and produces 60% of Quebec\u2019s local wine. With its 6 driving routes<\/a><\/strong>, its 4 cycling routes<\/a><\/strong> and its numerous attractions, it is a must to put on your list. <\/p>\n

PLAN YOUR WINE TOUR<\/strong><\/p>\n

The town of Bromont is one of the many starting points along the Wine Route. The advisors at the Bromont Tourist Information Office will be happy to help you and your family or friends plan your wine tour. Stop by to meet with them and pick up the map and brochure.<\/p>\n

Did you know that not less than five (5) wineries are at a stone’s throw from Bromont in less than 15 minutes drive?\u00a0 Val Brome<\/a>, L\u00e9on Courville<\/a>, La Belle Alliance<\/a>, Vignoble Bromont<\/a> and Vignoble du Pic Bois<\/a>.<\/p>\n

DINING AT THE VINEYARD<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some wineries, like Vignoble de l\u2019Orpailleur and Le Vignoble du Ruisseau, have on-site restaurants. Others, such as Ch\u00e2teau Ste-Agn\u00e8s, Vignoble Gagliano, Domaine des C\u00f4tes d\u2019Ardoise, Domaine du Ridge, Vignoble Le Di-Vin, Domaine ValBrome, Vignoble Courville and Maison Agricole Joy Hill offer picnic boxes or cheese and charcuterie boards.<\/p>\n

ROAD SIGNAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n

As an official tourist route, the Wine Route has its own dedicated signage. Keep an eye out for the blue signs along the way: they\u2019ll lead you to a nearby winery that\u2019s part of the route. They are sometimes combined with another very popular scenic route in the region, the Chemin des Cantons\/ Townships Trail<\/a>. This 430 km circuit traces the region\u2019s history while offering some of the most beautiful panoramas!<\/p>\n

The Wine Route is also a hundred partners called “Amis de La Route des vins (Friends of the Wine Route<\/a><\/strong>)<\/strong><\/a>“. GRAPE HARVEST SEASON<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grape harvest season, or \u201cvendange,\u201d takes place from mid-September to mid-October. It\u2019s peak season in wine country, with many special activities taking place. Some vineyards allow guests to take part in the harvest but be sure to reserve in advance.<\/p>\n

WINTER IN THE WINERIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

From November to April, while the grapes are resting in vats awaiting transformation into this year\u2019s wines, it\u2019s the low season\u2014but several wineries open their doors to welcome you. Take advantage of the unique charm of winter to discover and taste the region\u2019s wines. Some wineries are closed, while others are open partially or by appointment only.
