In Memory of Dédé and Pat

For several years, Les Colocs-Ensemble have toured across Quebec, reconnecting audiences with the iconic Quebec band Les Colocs. Whether it’s those who had the chance to see them live or those who wish they had discovered them during their heyday, when the band shone on the music scene and won numerous awards in Quebec and Europe.

Mike Sawatzky, a founding member of the group, offers a unique acoustic trio performance. Joined by harmonica player Dominic DeGrasse and singer-guitarist Jason Hudon, Mike presents a stripped-down, intimate, and refined rendition of their works. The beloved music is revisited and enriched with heartfelt memories and anecdotes about his late friends Patrick Esposito di Napoli and André “Dédé” Fortin.

A portion of the concert proceeds will be donated to the Dédé Fortin Foundation for suicide prevention and mental health support. Those interested in contributing, making a donation, or learning more can do so directly through the Foundation.

The show will take place at the Le St-John an architectural gem built between 1882-85 and transformed into a hub for the arts and culture.
