Did you know that the CINLB is home to the highest number of species in the Haute-Yamaska region and is ranked the 37th best birdwatching site in Québec? What makes it so unique? It’s the remarkable diversity of natural habitats all in one place — marshes, wet meadows, hemlock groves, and mixed forests, among others. These ecosystems offer a variety of shelters and food sources that support a wide range of species. Come explore this exceptional biodiversity!

GUIDED TOUR WITH A NATURALIST

Book a tour with a passionate naturalist and let yourself be guided through the trails. With a trained eye, your guide will reveal the hidden wonders of this rich natural environment. Expect to encounter birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, insects, fish, plants, and fungi!

TRAILS

Take a deep breath of fresh air as you walk along 10 km of trails! Climb two observation towers, cross scenic boardwalks, and pause to read interpretive panels that share fascinating facts about the species that live in or migrate through the area.

ACTIVITIES

A variety of activities are offered throughout the year. Don’t miss the evening event in August celebrating the Perseid meteor shower or the fall excursion to learn the basics of wild mushroom foraging.

BIKE PATH

The “Granbyenne” bike path loops around the marsh for about 11 km. It connects to the Estriade and the Yamaska National Park (note that entry to the park requires a fee).
