Cédric gathers fir trees with his father. They must be cut down, tied up, and brought into town. City folk buy them for the big Christmas celebration. But that day, the snowstorm of the century hits, and Cédric loses his way in the forest, whipped by fierce gusts. His heartbroken parents believe he has vanished forever. Yet that isn’t the case—a cheerful old man with a generous waistline is watching over him.
