NEVER TRIED ALPINE HIKING?
Combining alpine skiing and hiking, alpine hiking involves climbing the mountain on skis or a splitboard with climbing skins, then descending on open ski slopes with the same equipment, without the skins. This activity is for intermediate or advanced skiers and snowboarders who enjoy earning their descent. No chairlifts here: only your energy will take you to the top!
Alpine hiking requires specific equipment: skis or a splitboard, climbing skins, boots, and telescopic poles. It is also essential to adjust your clothing to the effort required for the ascent, favoring lightweight and breathable clothes. Your insulating layers will be in your backpack, ready to be put on to stay warm during the descent.
