They are in love, parents, and creative partners. She, Catherine Major, composes the music; he, Jeff Moran, writes the lyrics. For the first time, with this project, they’re putting everything that lives inside them into one album and one show, titled Open-Air Bunker, to be presented at the Espace culturel St. John on October 17, 2026.

A shared life, set down in a musical project that bears their unmistakable signature—an love that has been unfolding for more than fifteen years. And the perspective they share as they look at the world together.

Over the years, they’ve brought tender, profound songs to life not only for themselves, but also for performers such as Diane Dufresne, Luce Dufault, and Marie-Denise Pelletier. The children have grown up, and now the time has come to start creating for themselves again—and to get back on the road.

Joined by the three musicians who helped them craft the album, they will perform the work live as a duo and revisit a few classics from their respective repertoires.

A one-of-a-kind project you’ll be able to dive into with the Major-Moran duo.
