SNOWSHOEING AT PARC DES SOMMETS

The Parc des Sommets network has more than 150 km of trails. They criss-cross the mountain, Old Bromont, lakes, residential areas, the businesses of the Science Park and sometimes offer breathtaking views of the Bromont massifs.

Parc des Sommets is divided into 5 networks and 3 of them are perfect for snowshoeing :

• Mountain Network ($)
• Mont Oak Network ($)
• Gale Lake Network ($) In order to minimize the environmental impact on this conservation area, dogs and bikes are prohibited, and access is restricted to residents of Bromont on weekends.

RENTAL EQUIPEMENT AT PARC DES SOMMETS

Snowshoes (for adults and juniors) are available for rent at the Parc des Sommets Pavilion, near the Mont Oak Network at 44 Des Carrières Road.

TRAILS SUGGESTIONS

• Viewpoint : the Coureur des bois (M50) from P7 to go to the top of Mount Bernard (472 meters)
• A long ride: The Cinture de randonnée (C1) and its 15 km that goes around Bromont, montagnes d’expériences
• Around the lake : the Gale Lake Loop at Mont Gale Network (on week only)
• An easy one : The G11 at Mont Gale Network (on week only)

SNOWSHOEING AT BROMONT, MONTAGNE D’EXPÉRIENCES 

Some snowshoe trails are accessible at Bromont, montagne d’expériences (BME).

• You can reach Mont Spruce (500 meters) via the Raclette trail located at the Versant des Épinettes (P5 Parking Lot).
• The Babiche trail will take you to Mont Brome (565 meters) from the main parking lot P1.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL AT BME

It is possible to rent snowshoes for a day without a reservation by visiting the rental shop acessible via parking lot P1 (150 Champlain Road).
