Named after the small rodents with a keen taste for fresh vegetables, the organic market garden Les Jardins de la Marmotte cultivates over fifty vegetables on a small 2-acre plot.

David Whiteside, founder and owner of the farm, practices bio-intensive methods that allow, among other things, soil regeneration.

Located on the border of two eco-regions, the maple forests of the lowlands of the St. Lawrence and the mixed forests of the Appalachian foothills, Les Jardins de la Marmotte are certified by Ecocert Canada.
