Roland-Désourdy Airport is an Airport of Entry/15 (AOE/15) used exclusively for the customs clearance of users aboard general aviation aircraft (private or corporate) with non-scheduled flights. These aircraft can carry no more than 15 travelers, including crew members, who do not pay on each flight.

The 5004-foot (1525-meter) runway can accommodate aircraft such as the Dash-8-400 and Airbus 220, as well as all types of business jets.

The airport offers customs services with a mandatory 48 hour advance notice to the Canada Border Services Agency. These services are available free of charge from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, and upon request outside of these hours for a fee. The airport is also listed among aerodromes offering the CANPASS-AIR program.
