The Place publique (Public Square), nestled in the heart of Old-Bromont, is an open-air theater that hosts a variety of shows and events, amidst the unique charm of Shefford Street.
Offering more than just entertainment, it serves as a relaxation spot and an ideal picnic stop, providing a breathtaking view of the majestic Mount Brome.
In the heart of Bromont, this picturesque space blends culture, nature, and a distinctive way of life. Whether you’re looking to unwind, be inspired, connect with others, or simply take in the moment, the Public Square offers a vibrant yet calming pause in this heritage gem. Public restrooms are available in the main building, along with a drinking water station.
A Rich and Diverse 2025 Summer Program
Throughout the summer, the Public Square comes alive with festive, cultural, and musical events — and admission is free for all!

In addition to these major events, a diverse lineup of activities is offered, from country dancing to Zumba, as well as artistic workshops such as the creation of a collective mosaic.
And as tradition has it, Old-Bromont will come alive on December 6-7, 2025, with the return of the magnificent Festif Bromont Christmas market — complete with live performances and a medley of activities for all ages.

Public parking is available at the Compton parking lot, the arena, and along Pierre-Bellefleur Street.
