EQUESTRIAN COMPETITIONS
An idyllic, picturesque site, the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park is a place of unsuspected beauty. Exceptional and rare in Quebec, it is the setting for grandiose competitions where you can marvel at the prowess of the riders and their horses, while appreciating the originality of the obstacles, often decorated with flowers. The series including International Bromont I and International Bromont II is undoubtedly the best-known, but many other types of event are presented from spring to autumn.
MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS
The Bromont Ultra brings together ultra-marathon athletes who not only run distances of up to 160 km, but also raise funds for local charities. Other cycling events include track events at the indoor velodrome, BMX races and downhill and enduro mountain bike competitions.
CULTURE AND MUSIC
Music and art lovers can enjoy music, comedy, theatre, and visual arts year-round – either indoors at the intimate Espace culturel St-John, at the lively outdoor stage at the foot of the slopes or in the Old-Bromont Public Square. In late August, Quebec’s largest gathering of artists arrives for Bromont en Art.
GASTRONOMY
From summer until early autumn, the village comes to life with the Old-Bromont Public Market, where a variety of local producers gather to showcase the fruits of their labor. Then, as the holiday season approaches, flavors take center stage at Festif Bromont, a Christmas market filled with good food and good cheer. Bromont, montagne d’expériences, also hosts themed evenings, several of which take place at the summit chalet—an exceptional opportunity to savor local products while admiring the jaw-dropping views.
