Sharrie Williams at Bromont Blues
Thursday, July 2nd, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – The Bromont Blues series kicks off in a big way with none other than Sharrie Williams!
Sharrie Williams doesn’t just sing the blues — she lives it. Born and raised in the working-class neighborhoods of Saginaw, Michigan, she grew up in a deeply musical family. Surrounded by jazz, gospel, and blues, her home felt like a true juke joint, filled with singing, dancing, and music.
Discovered in Chicago with The Wise Guys, she quickly launched an international career. Influenced by legends such as Koko Taylor, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Billie Holiday, Sharrie Williams has developed a powerful style blending gospel, rock, and blues. Her intense voice and electrifying stage presence captivate audiences every time.
This FREE concert, presented by Desjardins, takes place on the outdoor stage at the Old-Bromont Public Square.
