A summer of shows and discoveries in the heart of Old-Bromont
The Public Square in Old-Bromont is the lively epicenter of free summer gatherings, with numerous events and activities for all audiences.
By popular demand, the Bromont Blues concerts are making a big comeback every Thursday in July starting at 6 p.m. The season kicks off on July 3 with blues legends Breen Leboeuf, Jim Zeller, Carl Tremblay, Jimmy James, Andrée Dupré, and Marie-Ève Fournier for an unforgettable opening night. Angel Forrest will delight the audience on July 10. Many more artists will follow across these five music-filled evenings.
After its success in 2024, the Faune Festival returns to light up the Public Square! Four events are planned to dance under the sun to the sounds of top DJs, including Maüs, Monsieur PY, and Soraï, in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. Focused on electronic music and sunny house sounds, Faune promises a unique sensory experience, open to all.
The prestigious Festival international de la chanson de Granby (FICG) will also stop in Bromont for a second year, with emerging francophone artists performing the first three Thursdays in August at 6 p.m. Pure joy guaranteed!
Comedy and the arts are also featured: on July 11, Humour d’été (comedy show in French); on August 8, EXPO by Vague Urbaine will bring live music, artistic installations, and creative kiosks to the Public Square. From August 22 to 24, the Symposium Bromont en art returns, with a major new feature: a special exhibition at the St-John.
In addition to these main events, a variety of activities are offered throughout the summer, from country dance and Zumba to artistic workshops like a collective mosaic project. Something for everyone to enjoy Bromont’s sunny season!
