3 DAYS, 125 EXHIBITORS, A 1 KM ROUTE, 1000 ORIGINAL ARTWORKS!

The 28th edition of the Symposium Bromont en art will take place in the charming setting of Old Bromont, from August 28 to August 30, 2026. 

As the largest gathering of visual artists in Quebec, come meet painters, sculptors, photographers, and artists from various disciplines who will be presenting over 1000 original works. Some of these pieces will even be created live before your eyes!

A free shuttle will be available if you’d like to travel between different points along the route.

ABOUT BROMONT EN ART

Each year, nearly 30,000 people visit Old-Bromont to meet the artists at this significant artistic event. Founded in 1999 by Rénald Cusson and his wife, painter Marie Claude Tétreault, who passed away in 2022, the children of the co-founder, Philippe and Marc Cusson, have now taken up the torch of Bromont en art and continue its mission to promote visual arts.

Designated swimming lanes are available. All swimmers must have the following equipment: a swim buoy, a whistle, and a brightly colored swim cap.

We sneak into Garde-Manger par VJV (Verger Johanne et Vincent) to grab a meal prepared on site or to enjoy their bistro and terrasse. ZAYAT AROMA is a family business specializing in the distillation and distribution of essential oils and aromatic products.

Since 1985, Mikaël Zayat has been offering essential oils, part of which is distilled in the laboratory adjacent to the store. In 2011, his eldest son Eloï A. Zayat incorporated the company. Did you know that not less than five (5) wineries are at a stone’s throw from Bromont in less than 15 minutes drive?  Val Brome, Léon Courville, La Belle Alliance, Vignoble Bromont and Vignoble du Pic Bois.


DINING AT THE VINEYARD

Some wineries, like Vignoble de l’Orpailleur and Le Vignoble du Ruisseau, have on-site restaurants. Others, such as Château Ste-Agnès, Vignoble Gagliano, Domaine des Côtes d’Ardoise, Domaine du Ridge, Vignoble Le Di-Vin, Domaine ValBrome, Vignoble Courville and Maison Agricole Joy Hill offer picnic boxes or cheese and charcuterie boards.

ROAD SIGNAGE

As an official tourist route, the Wine Route has its own dedicated signage. Keep an eye out for the blue signs along the way: they’ll lead you to a nearby winery that’s part of the route. They are sometimes combined with another very popular scenic route in the region, the Chemin des Cantons/ Townships Trail. This 430 km circuit traces the region’s history while offering some of the most beautiful panoramas!

The Wine Route is also a hundred partners called “Amis de La Route des vins (Friends of the Wine Route)“. GRAPE HARVEST SEASON

Grape harvest season, or “vendange,” takes place from mid-September to mid-October. It’s peak season in wine country, with many special activities taking place. Some vineyards allow guests to take part in the harvest but be sure to reserve in advance.

WINTER IN THE WINERIES

From November to April, while the grapes are resting in vats awaiting transformation into this year’s wines, it’s the low season—but several wineries open their doors to welcome you. Take advantage of the unique charm of winter to discover and taste the region’s wines. Some wineries are closed, while others are open partially or by appointment only. Don’t hesitate to check opening hours before your visit.

From 1998 to 2017, she served as the mayor of Bromont, following a career of over 35 years in education as a teacher, educational advisor, and school principal. As early as 1980, she played a key role in establishing the library as the president of Loisirs de Bromont Inc. In recognition of her significant contribution, the library was named in her honor.

The Parc des Sommets offers over 150 km of trails to explore by yourself or with friends and family, summer and winter alike! They wind through the mountain, Old-Bromont, lakes, residential areas, and the Scientific Park, offering along the way breathtaking views of the Bromont massifs and several summits to climb.

TRAILS SPREAD ACCROSS 5 NETWORKS

  1. Mountain network: Over 50 km of trails for intermediate and advanced hikers. Stunning panoramas await you at the summits of Mont Bernard, Mont Horizon, and Mont Spruce.
  2. Lac Gale network: This magnificent nature conservation park offers 15 km of hiking trails in the heart of a rich diversity of wildlife, bird species, and plant life. To minimize environmental impact in this conservation area, dogs and bicycles are prohibited, and access is reserved for Bromont residents on weekends.
  3. Mont Oak network: A shared network with cyclists, featuring rolling terrain without any significant climbs.
  4. Mont Berthier network (free access): Natural trails connecting the Village network and the Mountain network.
  5. Village network (free access): A 17-kilometer trail connecting Bromont’s two village centers, Vieux-Bromont and the Adamsville sector, passing through the Bromont Scientific Park.

Bromont, montagne d’expériences also offers hiking trails, which connect to those of the Parc des Sommets mountain network. A single ticket provides access to all the networks.

Accès nature allows you to discover Québec’s regional parks for free, so you can experience the benefits of the outdoors and the joy of moving outside. Reserve your access today for Parc des Sommets (same-day reservations are not available). Ferme de la colline du chêne

Located on the picturesque road of Lac-Gale in Bromont, la Ferme de la colline du chêne has been operating as a solidarity cooperative since its inception in 2009. Today, two passionate farmers continue the farm’s mission, focusing on organic vegetable production.

SEASONAL VEGETABLES: FRESHNESS AND VITALITY!

The farm produces around fifty varieties of vegetables, which are distributed to various local grocery stores and restaurants. You can also purchase them through their summer subscription program. The farm is a member of Fermier.ère de famille, a large network that connects certified organic local producers with consumers through the bio basket subscription service.

SELF-SERVICE FARM STAND

Their self-service farm stand, open from mid-April to mid-November, is an absolute must-see on your itinerary! In addition to the wide variety of seasonal vegetables, you’ll also find local terroir products to enjoy while admiring the stunning landscape.

The Musée du chocolat et de la confiserie de Bromont offers a wide selection of desserts, fine chocolates made on-site, a chocolate-themed museum, and a gourmet boutique with a large variety of European delicacies.

You also have the option to order ready-to-eat meals (in the form of lunch boxes) to enjoy on their beautiful country-style terrace or in their dining room.

Quartier Bromont (Outlet)

Thanks to its infrastructure and its range of services, the Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont (CNCB) offers a unique experience.

Only Olympic indoor velodrome in Canada, its oval-shaped surface allows track cycling training and competitions, but not only that !

No matter the cycling discipline, it’s the perfect place to reconnect with the sport, begin or deepen your knowledge. Equipment rental, trails, learning modules, coaches, programs and events take place there to satisfy curiosity and meet the needs of its customers. You can also simply enjoy the lively atmosphere of the venue for remote work or a quick bite—there are several food and drink options available on site.

Biggest enlightened ski domain in North America, Bromont will enchant you with its 450 acres of skiable terrain on 7 mountainsides for a total of 141 trails for all levels, open from early Decembre to early April !

Obviously alpine skiing is in the star but we also head to the mountain for its 9 snow parks and 13 alpine touring trails. Outdoor enthusiasts also enjoy snowshoeing and mountain biking. In summer, the water park and the hebertism park are winning options for family. In addition to all of that, events and shows are put out year-round to ensure a lively resort.

ALPINE SKIING

With meticulously groomed slopes, often maintained multiple times a day to ensure optimal conditions, the resort is renowned for its impeccable trail maintenance. Thanks to its powerful snowmaking systems, the ski experience remains exceptional, whatever the weather. We recommend visiting the snow conditions for opening hours, lifts and trails. Opening and closing dates vary depending on the season.

Bromont also stands out as one of the largest progression centers, featuring its renowned Snow School, a beginner slope with three magic carpets, and Mont Soleil, an area perfect for progressing at your own pace.

Not to mention its many snow parks: with a wide variety of jumps, rails, ramps, modules, and burms, they offer everything adrenaline seekers need for thrilling experiences, while also allowing beginners to safely explore freestyle skiing.

The ski season generally runs from December to April, depending on snow conditions.

GONDOLA RIDE

SUMMER: Take the gondola or a chairlift ride to reach the top of the mountain. Schedule here

AUTUMN : Reaching the summit in record time, admiring a breathtaking 360 degrees landscape, walking the interpretive trail, and coming down in a few minutes has never been easier with a gondola ride !

WINTER : Take the opportunity to admire the winter scenery of the Eastern Townships ! Gondola rides during the ski season are also available.  Please note that the last lift ride is 30 minutes before closing, and a discount on your day ticket applies if purchased online.

WATER PARK

The Water Park is a wave of fun for the whole family! It’s the perfect place to cool off in the water, but also to enjoy the attractions of the mountain through a lot of activities.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Downhill enthusiasts, enduro aficionados, beginners, intermediates, advanced or experts, Bromont is the perfect mountain to practise this sport which is growing in popularity. From May to October, meet at Versant du Lac for the mountain bike base camp (P5). A mountain bike school is also located here.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

In the winter season, alpine skis, snowboards, alpine touring equipment, and snowshoes are available for rent at the rental center. In summer, the center offers mountain bikes for rent.
