Set off to discover our most beautiful landscapes by traveling the Townships Trail, a tourist route that covers no less than 430 km !

A wonderful way to discover the American and British influences, one of our region’s distinctive characteristics as well as the legendary hospitality of our people. This signposted route which highlights both the built and natural heritage, you will discover charming village hearts, covered bridges, round barns and interpretation centers.

The Townships Trail invites you to follow in the footsteps of the first waves of settlement, those of the Americans, Loyalists, Scots and Irish who came to settle at the end of the 18th century and during the 19th century.
